Sid is an explorer and a cross-cultural academic who spent his childhood in India, his teens and university years growing up in Canada, and decided to continue absorbing the vital first-hand experience through living in 6 different countries. He is motivated by the ongoing phenomenon of societal modernization and how it relates to international trade, infrastructural development, SME\'s and start-ups, in addition to regional- innovation and growth policy.Sid aims to explore how \'socially modernized\' regions or cities may have a competitive edge at being economically advanced in a world with increasing connectivity. He continues to develop his language skills as he aims to work in policy and research for economic and social development.
