I joined IIFL Securities as an Associate in Equity Research in October 2022, and I am currently working there. Over the past 2.5 years, I have grown within the company and was recently promoted as a lead analyst in business services sector and I am proud to be the youngest lead analyst at IIFL Securities. I cover stocks in Telecom, Media, Ratings, and Business Services sectors listed on the Indian stock market. My daily responsibilities include analyzing company fundamentals with a focus on financial health, growth prospects, competition, regulations, and market trends that may impact the company.I have built financial models to forecast key metrics and perform valuations using methods like Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Sum of the Parts based valuations, and comparable company analysis. I also prepare detailed research reports with stock recommendations based on quarterly results and significant events in the company or the sector. We also prepare detailed initiation notes and annual report analysis of our coverage companies.In addition to research, I interact regularly with the sales team and research team, management of coverage companies, portfolio managers, and clients, particularly after quarterly results or any major developments in the stock or the sector. I currently manage coverage for five companies as the first analyst and contribute as the second analyst for fifteen others.In the past 2.5 years, we have initiated coverage on six companies across Telecom and Business Services sector. Additionally, we have successfully closed four IPO deals.
