In the role of a configurator, I contribute towards implementation & customization of Duck Creek Billing’s out-of-the-box features for insurance carriers. Responsibilities include• Developing/customizing insurance solutions using Duck Creek’s proprietary tools. Namely EXAMPLE Author, EXAMPLE Forms, EXAMPLE Skins, Page Designer, Page Builder, EXAMPLE User Admin.• Identifying and Debugging issues with the Base Billing product as well as those introduced through configuration using tools like EXAMPLE Utility Center, Trace monitor, Data tester and Regression Runner. • Extending Duck Creek Billing’s capabilities by implementing custom solutions using the Microsoft technology stack – C#.Net, MS SQL Server, WCF - to address specific client requirement• Implementing scalable solutions based on established Design patterns (Builder, Factory and Lazy loading/Initialization) • Implementing out-of-box solutions involving file movements, data processing and workflows using Microsoft Azure Functions. • Building Reports through Microsoft SSRS and Power BI. I also lead a team of developers and Quality analysts/testers overseeing customizations of the Duck Creek Billing product. Responsibilities include-• Working closely with Business Architects, Analysts and Functional experts to translate Business requirements into feasible solutions.• Prioritization of deliverables based on customer needs, complexity of implementation and the capacity of the team.• Setting up development best practices - peer review expectations, documentation guidelines, effort estimation and tracking.• Performing architecture & code reviews to ensure that customizations meet application requirements without compromising on the performance of the product. • Ensuring deliverables meet expected quality standards by working closely with developers and testers on defects identified during the various phases of testing.
