I graduated in 2023 from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and have been working at PhonePe since then as a backend developer. I have over 2 years of experience. My core expertise lies in Java and building scalable, resilient systems using Microservices architecture.At PhonePe, I\'ve had the opportunity to work across diverse areas such as disaster recovery strategies for microservices, database optimizations, and handling large-scale challenges like OTP bombing prevention. I also have hands-on experience working with ETL pipelines—leveraging Kafka and Maxwell for building near real-time data flows.One of my most impactful contributions was designing secondary index (SI) support in HBase—an org-wide feature that significantly improved query performance and was adopted by multiple teams. This project deepened my understanding of distributed systems, HBase internals, and performance tuning at scale.I\'m passionate about backend engineering and enjoy solving complex problems related to scale, reliability, and system design. I\'m always eager to explore new challenges and grow as a systems engineer.Beyond my professional work, I’m an avid competitive programmer with a strong passion for problem solving. I’ve solved over 1500 problems on Codeforces and hold the Expert rank—an achievement that reflects my consistent dedication to sharpening my algorithmic thinking and tackling challenging problems under time constraints. Competitive programming has played a key role in shaping the way I approach debugging, optimization, and system design in real-world projects.I\'m always excited to collaborate with smart people and take on complex engineering challenges.
