Worked in retail sector for Sales forecasting, Warehouse capacity management and Markdown optimization. Performed monthly forecasting for e-commerce and retail stores for beauty & fashion segments across UAE and Saudi Arabia using time series & regression models. Achieved mape values within success criteria and supported the orgnization to manage the inventory orders across all stores for 14 months horizon. Delivered the digital product on GCP Vertex AI platform using kubeflow pipelines as an ML automation and looker studio as dashboard showcasing past trends & future projections, along with metrics.Warehouse capacity management : Performed daily labor forecasting across inbound, outbound and value added activities of warehouse in UAE. It involved forecasting efforts for the activities, computing daily, shift manhours and further estimating optimum full time & part time employees. Regression models were developed for weekly forecasting the efforts and were disaggregated to daily level. Productivity values were used to compute man hours from forecasted efforts and optimization model was run to obtain FT/PT employees. MLOPS pipeline using kubeflow was developed to automate process and results were showcased on Looker studio.Achieved 15% reduction in labor cost for 3 months horizon.Markdown Optimization: Developed forecasting models to increase revenue recovery rate & efficiently manage inventory across Walmart Sam\'s Club in USA by obtaining optimum prices for seasonal items/items at 8 weeks from out-of-stock date. Improved performance of forecasting models, enhanced ETL pipelines and performed MLOPS on gcp using kubeflow pipelines & Airflow dags in GCP.
