ABOUT SIDDHARTH CHAINI

Cybersecurity | Cryptography | HSM & Key Management | Blockchain & Payment Security | Post-Quantum Cryptography | Cipher Citadel (Ci²)With over a decade of experience in cybersecurity, my work has been centered on cryptography, trusted systems, and high-assurance security implementations. This has included extensive work with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), key management systems (KMS), multi-factor authentication technologies, and cryptographic integrations across enterprise and regulated environments. Over the years, this work has spanned domains such as digital identity, payments, blockchain security, and key protection, with hands-on exposure to technologies and standards including PKCS#11, JCA/JCE, CNG, OTP, smart cards, PKI, FIDO, FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria, eIDAS, and NIST frameworks. What makes this journey meaningful is not only the technologies themselves, but the patterns they reveal. Security rarely depends on a single control in isolation. It depends on how systems are designed, how trust is established, how defaults shape real deployments, and how complexity influences behavior across layers. That perspective continues to shape the way I think about security today. This direction is also what led to Cipher Citadel (Ci²), a longer-term effort to explore cybersecurity as a connected discipline rather than a collection of disconnected topics. The vision is to bring together cryptography, application security, security architecture, risk thinking, modern system security, standards-based learning, and emerging areas such as Post-Quantum Cryptography in a way that is clear, progressive, and practically useful. The aim is not only to build or support secure systems, but also to help make cybersecurity easier to reason about. That includes connecting implementation with architecture, standards with real systems, and professional learning with deeper understanding across areas such as CISSP, OWASP, NIST, cryptography, and secure design. At its core, the journey is about one idea: security should not only be implemented. It should be understood. Part of the journey through Cipher Citadel (Ci²).
