About Siddharth Bhaskar
I am currently serving the role of AVP in the Strategy, CEO\'s office team of HDFC Life. Through my career of nearly 9 years I have helped clients in the BFSI space with setup of analytics center of excellence, drafting policies, brainstorming and prioritizing analytical use cases, and computing expected RoI from each use case. I have also helped strategize enhancements to the sales & distribution channels of insurance companies through peer benchmarking, understanding the manpower practices in terms of recruitment, training and attrition management, reviewing RnR and understanding their levels analytics & technological advancements. Alongside I have experience in credit risk model validation, credit scorecard development, expected credit loss computation (PD, LGD and EAD) and other areas of credit and market risk. I have completed all 3 levels of CFA (U.S.), both parts of FRM (GARP) and 4 CT papers from the Institute of Actuaries of India. I am familiar with using databases such as Bloomberg, SNL, Factiva, Axco and A.M Best.In addition to the above technical capabilities, I have built on soft skills such as being a team player, managing stakeholders from various geographies, training and mentoring junior team members and working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.
