A Behavioral Technician supports individuals with developmental, behavioral, or mental health needs by implementing personalized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role focuses on improving communication, social skills, daily living abilities, and reducing challenging behaviors through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.Key Responsibilities:Implement 1:1 ABA-based treatment plans designed by a BCBA.Collect accurate, real-time data on client behavior and skill acquisition.Assist clients in building functional skills, including communication, socialization, self-care, and emotional regulation.Use reinforcement strategies to encourage positive behaviors while reducing maladaptive behaviors.Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.Collaborate with clinical supervisors to review progress and adjust interventions.Support families by modeling strategies and offering guidance as needed.Complete required session documentation professionally and on time.Follow all ethical, clinical, and confidentiality guidelines.

ABOUT SIDDHARTH ANBALAGAN
As a dedicated pre-med student with a strong foundation in both the sciences and psychology, I am passionate about bridging the gap between clinical practice and empathetic patient care. Currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Natural Sciences at California State University, Fullerton, I also hold an Associate of Science in Biology from Orange Coast College.My hands-on experiences include shadowing Dr. Quang Quach, a board-certified ENT specialist at Quang Quach Pro Med Center, where I gained valuable insights into otolaryngology and observed the critical role of effective communication and compassion in patient care. In addition, I’ve contributed to microbiological research at Coastline College, conducting bacterial culture and identification experiments that deepened my understanding of the scientific method and the intersection of microbiology and medicine.I bring a solid grasp of medical ethics, sharp observational skills, and a deep commitment to enhancing patient outcomes. My goal is to further my education in medical school and dedicate my career to advancing healthcare through compassionate, science-driven medicine.
