ABOUT SIDDHANT NAIR

I’m a Business Management student at the University of Birmingham with a strong commitment to finance, asset management, and long-term investing. Alongside my studies, I’ve built practical experience in portfolio management, equity research, and financial modelling — applying these through internships at EY, Vega Worldwide Logistics, and most recently a portfolio management internship in Dubai, where I supported client portfolio reviews, performance analysis, and investment research.As Head Portfolio Manager of the university\'s student-run fund, I lead equity research and sector allocation strategies, building conviction in decisions through DCFs, comparables, and risk-return analysis. At the same time, as President of the UoB Business Society, I’ve grown membership by over 250% and launched initiatives such as the Business Challenge competitions, the Buinsess Lens Newsletter, and the Startup Sub-Division — experiences that sharpened my leadership, strategy, and stakeholder management skills.Cleared the CFA Level I exam (Nov 2025). I’m motivated by the challenge of constructing efficient, risk-balanced portfolios and exploring how emerging markets and FDI shape global financial flows — also the focus of my dissertation.
