ABOUT SIDDHANT KANDGE
I’m a Master’s student in Computer Science at Santa Clara University, where I also contribute to the Human-Computer Interaction Lab. My work focuses on building AI-driven platforms for digital well-being. Recently, I helped develop FocusMode, a Chrome extension where I engineered a serverless backend using AWS Lambda, Python, and JavaScript and collaborated on machine learning models to predict user focus triggers.Before this, I worked at Persistent Systems, where I enhanced enterprise-scale applications such as the Digital-1st platform using Java Spring Boot and PostgreSQL. I hold a B.Tech. in Computer Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune (COEP), where I built a strong foundation in software engineering and research.My technical strengths include Java, Python, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Node.js, MongoDB, and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). I also have strong experience in system design and software design patterns, applying scalable architectures to real-world projects.
