The platform handles critical client data verification and compliance checks for over daily active users. Defined API contracts and engineered a zero-downtime migration strategy using Kafka, successfully decoupling business and persistence logic while integrating with multiple legacy systems. Owned the end-to-end feature delivery for a complex KYC platform, enabling new identifier attributes and verification flows across 200+ data fields. This work was a key contributor to a project with a €1.7M projected annual cost saving. Reduced UI latency by ~25% by designing and implementing a GraphQL Backend-for- Frontend (BFF). The BFF aggregated and processed data from over 10+ downstream microservices, shifting complex aggregation logic from the client to a dedicated, co-located service. Led the modernisation of team CI/CD pipelines by migrating to GitHub Actions, slashing deployment times by 60%(from 5+ hours to ~2 hours). This initiative significantly improved release frequency, reliability, and the team\'s debugging capabilities.
