About Siddhaant Priyam
MBA graduate from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore with deep front-office experience across global markets, quantitative research, and investment analysis. At Bank of America Global Markets, I executed FX and rates trades (FX spot/swaps, OIS, G-Secs) while integrating live desk flow and macro signals to refine trade ideas, entry/exit timing, and risk—delivering consistent positive P&L. I also built a USDINR forward-curve strategy by identifying recurring seasonal dislocations (Mar–Jun), structuring a curve-compression trade that generated ~22bps P&L with strong historical hit-rate.Previously at Barclays, I worked as a Fixed Income Quant Researcher, developing desk-level pricing, risk, and analytics frameworks. My work included building a swaps P&L explain engine using DV01 tenor ladders and PCA-based factor decomposition, designing an EWMA-based event risk model for macro releases to improve swap pricing, and delivering market microstructure analytics (liquidity, spreads, volatility) that enhanced trading dashboards and monitoring efficiency. I worked closely with traders and sales across regions, contributing directly to desk P&L and supporting ~$10M+ daily notional through pricing, execution monitoring, and risk analysis.Beyond markets, I have led high-impact analytical projects including a real-time India GDP nowcasting model using 15+ high-frequency indicators (achieving ~1.23% RMSE) and a 20+ year FDI flow deep-dive analyzing sectoral and geographic capital allocation trends to generate actionable macro insights. I also bring a strong academic foundation from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi (Rank 2, CGPA 9.18), along with achievements in machine learning research and top percentile performance in competitive exams (99.7%ile CAT).My core strength lies in translating macroeconomics, market flow, and data into actionable trading and investment insights—combining quantitative rigor with real-world market intuition. I will be joining EY Investment Banking (Lead Advisory), where I aim to apply this skillset to valuation, deal execution, and capital allocation in a front-office environment.
