ABOUT SID GAUTAM

I am an empathetic, coach-like leader, a trust builder who partners with people to co-create solutions to achieve business goals using strong management skills. I motivate people to unlock their full potential. Through these efforts, I create an environment of discretionary effort. In my role at Suncor, the focus is on elevating team performance and ensuring robust operational practices, drawing on over two years of dedicated coaching. Our team\'s efforts in occupational safety and equipment reliability have led to notable operational enhancements. Utilizing the International Coaching Federation framework, I\'ve partnered with second line and front line leaders to help them make positive shifts in their leadership and which in turned resulted to drive discretionary effort. Previously at Syncrude, leadership in QA inspections, mechanical engineering and Turnaround empowered my team to develop strategies that significantly improved reliability and safety measures. By integrating collaborative approaches, we established maintenance plans and equipment strategies that contributed to a record-setting performance.
