Hi! Palit here. Who am I🤔?(A Human) A curious Human Being with a keen interest in SciComm, Outreach, Research, Entrepreneurship, and Industry! Oh yes, besides I love listening to music, traveling to various places, and spending time with friends and family, and certainly am foody. Who am I🤔?(A Student) I\'m an Undergraduate sophomore studying Chemistry, at City College, Kolkata. Unlike my peers, my view of chemistry can be summarised in the following words,\"Chemistry is not a bad subject, It’s a fantastic subject, with fantastic history and fantastic stories. Unfortunately, we don’t remember them, we don’t cite them, and we don’t tell people about them!\"(~ Dr. C.N.R. Rao). And, therefore I chose chemistry as my domain of interest! Who am I🤔?(My Aspirations) My interests include (but are not limited to) the domain of \'Space Chemistry, Astrobiology, and Chemputers (Chemical Robots)\'. Why Whilst in high school ready to pursue a career in \'pharmacy\' after +2 (in alignment with my infatuation for chemistry), it was during the COVID lockdown that I gained more clarity. I was very much inspired by the storyline of the 3rd episode of the \'COSMOS- POSSIBLE WORLDS\' documentary, i.e.\'Lost City of Life\' where I was introduced to \'Astrobiology\' and also thought about the very central role of chemistry in this field. I was hooked on Space! Slowly I began networking with similar individuals on LinkedIn! I got to know about unique fields in Space like \'Space Biology\',\'Space Architecture\', and \'Space Sociology\' and gained greater clarity about the role of Chemistry in Space. From \'Astrochemistry/cosmochemistry to \'Systems and Prebiotic chemistry\' to \'Space Food, Materials, and astronaut suits\', chemistry is everywhere! Thus I concluded,\"CHEMISTRY WAS BORN IN SPACE & WE CERTAINLY NEED CHEMISTRY TO BOTH SAVE AND MOVE BEYOND EARTH!\" Who am I🤔?(A Team Lead) I am the Founder of a Youth-led Non-profit, ‘LIFE- To & Beyond’. I play the part of a Team Executive Officer in the Team where I am involved in driving the team activities in terms of R&D, Communications, Tech, and Operations. I believe in collective team development via mutual learning and mentorship from veterans.
