About Sibley Brown

My name is Sibley Brown and I am currently a senior in the John V Roach Honors College at Texas Christian University earning a business administration degree, specifically finance with a real estate concentration. I’m originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and would describe myself as persistent, goal-oriented but above all, expressive. Growing up the oldest, and serving as a role model to my younger siblings, I have learned how to take charge of something while still being open-minded to others’ opinions and ideas. Through extracurriculars– specifically in competitive cross country and track and field– I have learned the importance of being driven by purpose which has developed my goal orientation. My most valuable skill though is my expressive personality type– As a brand ambassador for Rodan and Fields, I have learned the imperative nature of customer relations and effective communication both professionally and personally. While working as an intern on the industrial team of JLL during the summer of 2023 and 2024, I was provided an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the commercial real estate industry, specifically focused on industrial properties. I had the chance to assist with market research and property analysis, contributing to the team\'s overall success while developing a strong foundation for a career in the field. As I have developed these skills and exercised them day-to-day, I have grown my business acumen further and seek to extend my skills and advance into the forefront of commercial real estate.
