About Sibel Berzeg
More than 25 years\' experience designing and leading a wide range of governance, civil society, media and cross-sectoral programs spanning the Middle East, Eurasia, Central Asia, Southeast Asia and Africa. Worked directly for USAID and for the private and non-profit sectors managing and assessing international development programs; worked in and visited more than 100 countries. More than nine years of field-based leadership experience (COP and Regional Director) in nine countries in the former Soviet Union, Latin America, South Asia and Kosovo. Hands-on technical leadership/implementation of civil society, governance, food security, environment, human rights, anti-corruption, humanitarian, local economic development/livelihoods and media development projects. Field-based management experience includes leading more than 130 expatriate and local staff on 50 projects in five countries. HQ-based leadership has included 30+ field programs and more than 350 global staff across some 36 countries. Currently working for WWC-Global managing a multi-million dollar contact and approximately 30 staff in support of democracy, rights and Governance programming around the world.

Contract Lead for two institutional support contracts with USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG Bureau). Command Holdings helps federal agencies put good government principles into practice by implementing a proven series of program management techniques, carrying out statistical and qualitative analysis, identifying effective metrics and utilizing performance measurement tools with outcome-based qualitative data. As Contract Lead I oversee close to 40 superb staff delivering expert technical and operational support to USAID\'s DRG Bureau and USAID Missions globally.
