Siba is a Senior Human Resources Professional with more than 25 years of Global HR experience and is currently President ( People & Engagement ) in TATA AutoComp Systems Limited, a flagship Company of TATA Group. Prior to joining the TATA Group he was Head of Employee Relations for Standard Chartered Bank, Asia. In his stint in SCB He was responsible for strategic direction, governance and control of all Employee Relations related people practices across the Standard Chartered footprint globally across Asia, Comprising 35 countries and employees.Standard Chartered has been in a critical growth path over the last 2 decades due to its inorganic growth through various Mergers and Acquisitions, and Siba has been responsible for driving and embedding complex ER harmonization and embedding of consistent people practices amidst extremely challenging complex labour laws in some of the key markets the Standard Chartered Bank. ER function operates in an environment of very strong and complex regulatory intervention and unions. Siba plays a key role in managing strong unions / stakeholders / regulators in an international environment despite strong cultural resistance and other barriers.Siba has been part of several international labour union forums and has actively provided leadership on complex union issues in India, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Philippines, Sri Lanka and for acquisitions in Asia (American Express Bank, UTI securities, etc). As a part of expanded role, Currently he is also member of Advisory Committee to Prime Minister of India.
