About Siavash Eidi
With a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and two years of academic research in Hydrology and hydraulic design, I can bring a strong desire to learn and add onto my previous skills on the topic of water resources. I have had the previous opportunity to work as an Engineering Intern at the Virginia Department of Transportation. During this time, I harnessed my knowledge within the field of water resources to practice my growth in engineering, as well as took part in various stormwater management projects. While working with a team of engineers, I am starting to learn the true meaning of engineering, where you are set with a duty to make the lives of the community easier, through problem-solving. This sense of community is what drives me to delve deeper into the engineering field and be able to learn more and grow more into becoming a Professional Engineer.
