ABOUT SIAN ZAPP

Currently, I work as an FSM managing Portering services including waste, linen, reception, sterile instrument service, mail room. Also oversee the operational site security team provided by an external supplier.The transformation and continuous improvement driven within my team accelerates my passion to enhance individuals. It gives me great pleasure to build, support and motivate such a dynamic team. I believe strongly in listening to your team for opportunity of change and championing them. I take great pride in seeing individuals develop and take every opportunity to find that skillsets of people to flourish.Working as part of a team is very important to me. I get a real buzz out from challenges within the health care sector, these can be often and problem solving these are not so straight forward, but yet so rewarding. I seek opportunities to be involved in making change or implementing new ideas. Tak8ng on projects and tasks outside of my daily remit to further my knowledge and skills, for the growth and benefit of myself and the organisation. I enjoy building, developing and embedding policies and procedures to ensure there is a solid foundation.I am proud to be part of our growing organisation with our hardworking teams that are evolving.In 2012 I achieved a degree; BA(hons) Architectural Technology. I have grown a fond passion for working within the health care sector. Working closely with our clinical and non clinical teams and external stakeholders with some really exciting projects. There is always strive to change and improve our services, share knowledge and experiences and support our fellow colleagues and services.
