Key achievements:Built and developed an efficient team of 3 analysts working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders including Board and Executive Management, Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial, Operations and Catastrophe Modelling.Responsible for the coordination of the quarterly close process and the creation of post event response estimates. Presenting loss positions and analysis to Senior Leadership to ensure robust reserving decisions can be made on Natural Catastrophe and Property Major Risk losses.Created a vision for analytics and reporting with my team that is aligned to the SCOR company strategy. The strategic document includes stakeholder management and lays out a framework to develop the team, systems and reporting.Currently developing a new system that tracks event losses at a claims variation level enabling quarterly reporting to be produced quickly and efficiently freeing the team up to focus on more analytical tasks. The platform will allow greater insight on drivers of loss creep and will feed into portfolio optimisation and business planning.Introduction of spatial analytics tools to SCORs Direct Claims departments enabling the Claims Experts to gain greater insight into individual claims and overhauled the cat response process improving the collaboration between Claims and Exposure Management.
