ABOUT SIA SHARMA

I am a third-year B.A, LL.B.(Hons.) student at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, working towards a career in commercial contracts, arbitration, and corporate advisory. I am particularly interested in how transactions are structured, how risk is allocated, and how contractual relationships function across business sectors, including emerging spaces like technology, sports, and media.Through internships in commercial and dispute-oriented practices, I have assisted with arbitration filings, contract review, due diligence-oriented document analysis, IBC research, RERA compliance, and multi-party dispute documentation. I enjoy converting complex records and statutes into clear, structured insights that support strategy, drafting, and case preparation.As a Merits Speaker at the 32nd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, I argued issues under the CISG, UNIDROIT Principles, UNCITRAL Model Law, and institutional rules. This developed my foundation in international commercial law and contract interpretation, and reinforced my interest in arbitration-driven commercial practice.I am currently strengthening my skills in contract drafting, transactional research, and contractual risk assessment for pre-dispute and arbitration scenarios.
