About Shyla Ignacio
Starting in August of 2025 I will officially be a Juris Doctor candidate studying at the University of San Francisco School of Law. I am excited to pursue my interest in criminal law as I navigate this new journey. I look forward to connecting with current and future colleagues, practicing attorneys, and law professors to further grow my community and open up doors for future success. In May of 2025 I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Liberal Arts in Psychology. I additionally completed all requirements to be awarded a Certificate in Public Law. Throughout my undergraduate experience I learned much about myself as an individual, student, and professional. I practiced public speaking, time management and organization, which helped me to succeed in all areas of education and work. I am grateful for my journey at San Diego State University and will be forever thankful for the friends, professors, employers, and family that helped me along the way. Outside of school I enjoy moving my body through dance, using drawing, art, and other creative activities as an outlet, and spending time at the beach or in nature.
