This year, I’m mentoring TYE Boston entrepreneurs as they go through the process of creating a startup. It feels full circle to return as a mentor after having been a participant in the program last year myself.Grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned, support the next wave of founders, and continue learning alongside such passionate and driven people.

ABOUT SHYANI PATEL
My interest in business communications, leadership and psychology in business began in middle school as President of Student Council, leading and representing my fellow students. In high school, I have had the privilege of being the Publicist, utilizing and developing my skills in leadership, and communications. I am FBLA Chapter President where I lead my chapter throughout the year. I am an active member of DECA representing our club as Marketing Director. DECA & FBLA is where I gained experience in business strategy, communications, marketing, and presentation. I am Chief Operating Officer of Grocify (a platform to support the disenfranchised communities by reducing food insecurities) through TiE Young Entrepreuners, Boston. This year, I am Co-Director of the same program enabling me to give back and mentor the next set of entrepreneurs. I am also actively involved in Bharatnatyam & Bollywood Dance and have a deep connection to the children that I support and mentor monthly at a local children’s home and the children that I teach in India. My goal is to become a future leader. I’m particularly interested in exploring opportunities to learn more about communications, business strategy, psychology, finance, marketing, and management through internships, summer programs, shadowing, and networking. I would be thrilled for you to consider me - I am a hardworking, focused, and determined individual with a commitment to continuous learning. I am an extrovert who enjoys public speaking, managing people and projects and initiatives at school and working collaboratively with others to help us all grow together. I am excited for the journey ahead and I look forward to contributing my problem-solving mindset and collaborative spirit to meaningful projects that will help elevate my learning and contribute to making a positive impact on the real-world and community.
