Key Accountabilities:1. Service Delivery Oversight1.1 Ensure the stable and efficient operation of IT infrastructure services (servers, networks, storage, cloud, endpoints).1.2 Manage day-to-day service delivery operations across internal and outsourced teams.Monitor SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs, ensuring services are delivered within agreed parameters.2. Infrastructure Operations Management2.1 Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with ITIL standards.Implement proactive maintenance schedules and system health checks to minimize downtime.2.2 Coordinate patch management, backup, and disaster recovery activities.3. Team Leadership & Collaboration3.1 Lead and mentor infrastructure support teams across regions or time zones.3.2 Coordinate with other IT functions (apps, security, architecture) to ensure aligned service delivery.4. Stakeholder and Vendor Management4.1 Act as a primary point of contact for infrastructure service issues and escalations.4.2 Engage with business stakeholders to understand service expectations and improvements.5. Capacity, Performance & Availability Management5.1 Monitor infrastructure utilization and performance; recommend upgrades or optimizations.5.2 Ensure infrastructure availability meets business-critical requirements.6. Security, Compliance & Risk Management6.1 Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2).6.2 Collaborate with the InfoSec team to address vulnerabilities and audits.6.3 Identify risks and implement mitigations related to infrastructure operations.7. Strategic Planning & Project Delivery7.1 Contribute to the IT infrastructure roadmap, aligning with overall business and IT strategy.7.2 Support infrastructure-related projects including cloud migrations, data center transitions, or tech refreshes.7.3 Drive service transformation and modernization initiatives (e.g, automation, AI ops, cloud adoption).
