1.Develop safety & compliance culture, with periodic audits.2.Explore the possibility of converting batch to continuous process | process intensification, develop new | alternate sustainable technologies3.Effective resource planning to meet the yearly business targets.4.Review and approve the documents prior to commercialization like lab process verification | evaluation report, Process safety report, Solvent recovery proposals, Process Engineering Document (PED) and TTD.5 Review CAPEX requirement for brown and green field project. Check existing facility and work out minimum modification required.6. Review with team the project status periodically and facilitate the required help from functional heads from Mfg, R&D for plant implementation and approve the project sign off report7 Review and approve the standard operating procedures (SOPs), planning of adequate manpower, define the roles, responsibilities and deliverables of process engineering group8 Review the technical audit report of an existing plant processes to explore the scope of improvement based on gaps with standard norms | industrial bench marks9 Liaise | network with consultants, academia and research institutions | laboratories like. ICT(Mumbai), NCL (Pune), IIT etc for new project collaboration and new technology scouting.10 Utilise state of the art PE research laboratory for development. DOE, Quality by Design, PAT tools, continuous processing, scale up and mixing simulation softwares, solid state properties (bulk density, particle size, shape, polymorph) etc
