I\'m currently an Applied Scientist at Amazon, working on enabling multimodal capabilities in the LLM powering Rufus, Amazon\'s generative AI-powered conversational shopping assistant. Prior to this, I worked on foundation models for video understanding and image generation, and developed personalization techniques for text-to-image diffusion models. I also worked on generative image synthesis at Amazon Lab126 and Perception for Scout, Amazon\'s delivery robot. Prior to that, I worked at the Image Technology Incubation team of Dolby Labs with an interdisciplinary team of hardware and software engineers and researchers on solutions to capture, represent, transmit, render and display immersive visual content for applications like Augmented and Virtual Reality, and exploring new opportunities for Dolby in this space.I completed my masters degree at UC Santa Barbara, working in the Four Eyes Lab, advised by Prof. Matthew Turk. My masters project was about Retargeting Virtual Worlds. I completed my B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, India. During my undergrad, I spent a good amount of time at the Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Lab of the Indian Institute of Science, under the guidance of Prof. K R Ramakrishnan.
