Shweta, founder of the firm, is Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, holds a B. Com degree and MBA (Finance) from IME, Pune. A career Banker, Shweta in 2012, set up her own Company Secretarial practice under the name of Shweta Gokarn & Co. Shweta’s professional experience spans over a decade with specialization in Corporate & Securities Laws. She has diverse experience in advising clients on setting-up business set-up, private equity transactions, joint ventures, foreign investments. She has advised numerous Corporate entities across industry segments on regulatory, compliance & governance matters at various stages of project conception & execution. She is on panel of Experts of Maharashtra Center of Entrepreneurship Development (MCED)- Initiative by Govt. of Maharashtra & has addressed over aspiring Entrepreneurs across Maharashtra under the aegis of MCED. She has contributed articles in ‘Udyojak’ magazine of MCED & on social media on topics related to Business Development. She is a visiting faculty at the training center (CCGRT, WIRC) of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). In year 2016, she was part of the core team that developed the first of its kind handbook for Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) launched by the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). She has a rich exposure to Global Firms and best practices, through her association with PIVOT Management Consulting.
