ABOUT SHWETA MANGHNANI
In theory & according to my degree, I have a Masters in Counselling Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Psychology. I also have a Certificate in Forensic Science. I am trained in therapies like Queer Affirmative Counselling Practice, Expressive Arts, Transactional Analysis, Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Compassion Based Cognitive Training, Narrative Practices and Gestalt Therapy.In practice, I happen to create and facilitate Life Skills Training, Self Exploration, and Expressive arts. I enjoy writing and creating impact driven interventions for individuals (specifically identities, understanding self, reflective & restorative practices)I have worked in different settings which include: School, College, Orphanage, Urban & Rural Communities, NGOs, Custodial Institutions, Palliative Care.As a therapist, I combine the approach of compassion and humor to ensure a safe space for my clients. I use the principles of Applied Buddhist Psychology that creates an environment of acceptance and nonjudgement. It is of extreme importance that each individual in therapy feels heard and understood which I am equipped in. As an Academician, I have a passion for teaching and creating an explorative space for my students. I have taught papers like Communications Skills, Positive Psychology, Theories of Personality, Interventions, Rehabilitation Psychology, Systems, and Theories of Psychology, Health Psychology, Qualitative Research, Organisational Social Psychology, Behavioral Psychology, Motivation Training, etc.Additionally, I believe myself to be skilled in Interventions, Workshops, Leadership trainings, Social Media, and Research. I enjoy learning new things and interacting with individuals who have wisdom and insights to offer.
