My 11 years of experience as a multi-disciplinary engineer covers the field of design, optimisation and manufacture in innovative technologies. This has been demonstrated in the fields of superconducting magnet development for particle collider and tokamak research, military and solar electrical vehicle design and management within the pulp and paper industry. I both excel and enjoy project leadership and hands-on technical involvement within a team. My strongest ability involves developing non-conventional solutions to complex design problems with proven history of successful outcomes. I have taken on large projects early on in my career as an active member in an international team and take pride in being able to create efficient and novel solutions from first principles. This has allowed me to thrive in high-pressure situations and meet deadlines efficiently.My skills overlap into the fields of renewable energy systems, material science, electrification of transport and future of life technologies.
