ABOUT SHUSANT DUTTA
Hi, I am a second-year M.Sc. Tech student in Applied Geophysics. From the very beginning, I have been deeply interested in exploring alternate sources of energy for the next generation. During my journey in geoscience, I have been exposed to a wide range of potential resources such as hydrogen exploration, shale gas, gas hydrates, coal bed methane, and geothermal energy.I have already worked on a preliminary project in the characterization of shale gas reservoirs using well log data, which gave me valuable insights into the workflow of unconventional reservoir analysis. This experience has strengthened my interest in the field of unconventional and renewable energy resources.As I progress, I am eager to deepen my expertise in subsurface characterization, reservoir studies, and energy geoscience applications. I believe that a strong integration of geophysical methods with advanced data-driven techniques can open new pathways to sustainable exploration.I am very excited to dive into these fields of energy research and contribute meaningfully toward building a sustainable energy future for the generations to come.
