I’ve always believed growth isn’t something that happens to us – it’s something we choose, often in the moments that test us most.For more than 25 years, I’ve integrated the worlds of science, leadership, and human potential to fuel growth. I started in pharmacy and shifted into a career leading learning, development, and medical excellence initiatives for global organizations. Along the way, I discovered this defining principle: Knowledge builds competence, resilience builds confidence, and confidence transforms lives.This realization led me to launch Hunter B Consulting Group, where I help leaders and teams turn challenge into capability and intention into impact. My philosophy is all about pursuing progress over perfection through learning and courage so that you can thrive through change. These concepts are deeply personal for me because I’ve navigated a disability, the loss of a sibling, career pivots, caregiving, and all the unspoken expectations that come with being a Black woman in corporate America. My experiences have taught me that resilience isn’t about bouncing back or having a thick skin. It’s about leaning into hardships to understand them and grow from them, then moving forward stronger than before.I serve as a coach, workshop facilitator, and keynote speaker with the goal of creating spaces where people can show up as their whole selves.
