About Shufan Wang
Dr. Wang is a Professional Engineer with 15+ years’ combined industry and research experience in offshore and onshore production support. He has been involved in multiple projects of varying sizes and levels of engagement, including conceptual studies, front-end engineering design (FEED), and detailed engineering, as well as pre-commissioning and commissioning studies. These are projects involving multiphase (i.e, gas, condensate and black oil) as well as single-phase (i.e, oil or gas) operations. He has extensive experience in performing steady-state and transient analysis, addressing flow assurance issues including metering, slugging, multiphase flow, pressure surge, hydrate and wax mitigation and remediation, operational support, production optimization, erosion/corrosion analysis, as well as line sizing and equipment sizing, including pigging assessment. He is an editor and reviewer for multiple peer-review journals.
