ABOUT SHUCE ZHANG
I am a highly skilled researcher with expertise in experimental techniques, computational methods, and leadership. Currently, I am a post doctoral fellow at Amgen developing protein-protein interaction profiling platforms. Additionally, I have a PhD in Chemical Biology from the University of Alberta, where I engineered a high-throughput platform and workflow for rapid screening of cDNA libraries in living mammalian cells and developed optogenetic tools for direct control of calcium release from the endoplasmic reticulum. I am also skilled in molecular dynamics, protein design, molecular docking, and high-performance computing. As a leader, I have experience in writing and presenting for grants, manuscripts, posters, oral presentations, and copy editing. I am also involved in mentoring junior science students and volunteering for education sectors.
