Lead the implementation of the Finance Transformation project at NEST Corporation to change the finance system, re-engineer processes across the Corporation to add efficiency and effectiveness to enable non-financial stakeholders prioritise operational value driven activities.Develop, lead and performance manage 2 qualified Analysts through line management. Lead Annual business planning process for the Corporation by engaging, building and influencing relationships with stakeholders to deliver strategic objectives whilst evaluating impact on growth of the Corporation. Lead the production of and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management performance packs and KPIs including Operational Variances against plan on a Corporation, Directorate, Cost centre and project level. Presenting Cashflow forecasts against plan, quarterly performance dashboards, Staffing & report on membership and Assets under management. Key audiences are Executive Committee Members, Board, CFO & Director of Finance.Collaborating with the finance business partners and budget holders to provide operational insights to senior leaders. Challenging operational outcomes, KPIs to drive efficiencies within cost/profit centres.Oversee the delivery of the month end processes, ensuring the corporation ledger is closed on time and accurate monthly management reports are produced on a timely basis. Deliver and discuss monthly financial performance with the Department for Work Pensions to enable them to monitor the progress against plan and adherence to the conditions within the loan agreement. Contributing meaningful insight to the Strategy working group to be able to define direction of the organisation. Collaborating with the Director for Legal from a finance point of view to assess potential changes to contracting authority status. Liaised with Auditors for external audit at year end and manage deliverables.
