Drive towards innovations in product design, device fabrication and process development in the following areas:(1) Semiconductor electronics device design & fabrication: process & device integration, failure analysis, characterization, yield analysis, photolithography,ion-implantation, thin film deposition, etch, metrology, packaging.(2)Micro electro-mechanical engineering (MEMS)- design and fabrication of MEMS, BioMEMS, microfluidics and microarrays devices.(3) Materials development- semiconductor, silica, polymeric and carbon nanotube based materials, associated characterization techniques, derivatization of backbone resin through appropriate chemistry to obtain desired property.(4)Imaging systems– Scanning Electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray radiation imaging, optical microscopy, defect inspection, laser induced fluorescence, UV spectroscopy with optical fibers, confocal microscopy, ellipsometry (5) Multiphysics modeling and simulation of solid state and electro-mechanical device systems Skills • Fab process and equipment engineering : Photolithography, Dry and wet Etch, Thin film sputter and e-beam evaporation, furnace, metrology, etc. • Modelling and CAD tools : Silvaco process/device TCAD (Athena/Atlas), ProLith,KLayout, ansys, Inventor, Comsol, • Imaging and optics : SEM, optical microscopy, X-ray, CT, • Electrical and Material Characterization : I-V probe/analyzer; photonic spectrum analyzers, SIMS, EDS, XPS, lab equipment network configurators, etc. • Course Credits with Intel, GE and TEL vendor school on multidisciplines. • Semiconductor and MEMS device physics (Course Credits), CMOS; SiC power MOSFETs; photodiodes; opto-electronics, MEMs Sensors; • Cleanroom microfabrication processes (RIE, wet etch, thin film deposition) • Surface Science and characterization of semiconductor crystal substrates, siloxanes, organic polymers • Molecular transport and separation processes • Statistical analysis and DOE using 6-Sigma methods • Data analytics tools: JMP /JSL/SQL/ Klarity/E3 FDC/ VB/ Excel, VS Python, C++, C#
