ABOUT SHUBHAM PATEL

I am a third-year CS student at Conestoga College with experience in software development and some core AI/ML topics. Interned as an AI/ML Developer at Digipple, where I was part of building machine learning models and computer vision systems that help automate clients’ business processes. Over the past year, I\'ve worked on developing backend services using Python and Django during my 3 co-op terms, integrated APIs with third-party platforms like Stripe and Twilio, and built automated testing frameworks that caught bugs before they made it to production. I\'ve also spent time training ML models with TensorFlow and PyTorch, working with everything from customer sentiment analysis to quality control systems. My technical background covers programming languages like Python, Java, C++, and SQL, along with cloud platforms and database management. I enjoy working on projects that solve real problems - whether that\'s building a stock market monitoring system that handles thousands of price updates per second or creating a sign language recognition tool using your laptop’s webcam! I am currently working as an IT Support Intern at TMX Group (Toronto Stock Exchange) for Fall 2025 co-op term. Looking forward to applying my technical skills in a new environment and learning more about how technology supports capital markets.
