   Software Engineer 3: Oracle Cloud Integration (BCE – Balance Computation Engine)Project Description: Balance Computation Engine (OFSS BCE) is a key component in the Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications suite (OFSS). It’s engineered to compute and manage instrument-level (i.e, account-level) balances—including daily and period-to-date figures (monthly, quarterly, yearly). This includes capabilities for revaluation and currency translation, all while maintaining a detailed instrument-level management ledger for reconciliation and analytical purposesAchievement: Performance Team Daily Activity on Processes Situation / Task: The performance team had to manually switch tenants and query individual run-IDs across multiple BCE processes (e.g. “Average Balance – Assets,” “Revaluation,” “Expense Average Balance,” “Revenue Balance”) to collect each activity’s start time, end time, and duration. This repetitive lookup across tenants was very time-consuming and error-prone.Action: To streamline this, I designed and implemented a web dashboard (frontend in RapidIN, backend in Spring Boot) that takes as input a tenant and run-key, connects dynamically to the specified tenant environment, fetches all relevant activity data via APIs, and displays a consolidated view listing process name, activity name, start time, end time, duration, SLA, user, and run key.Result: The new centralized dashboard eliminated the need to switch tenants and individually query each activity. It reduced the performance team’s manual effort by 50–60%, enabled faster comparisons and SLA tracking, and improved operational efficiency and visibility.
