Finance is about creating discipline with money. Sometimes, it is about things that stimulate individual wealth. Sometimes, it is about things people require but need more dopamine for. The field of precision, dispassionate science, data, and inadvertent discoveries makes individuals reflect and engage more profoundly with financial aspects. My trajectory in it began orthodoxly by studying Commerce. It elucidated the world in terms of economics and absolutes. However, people rarely think about economic aspects; they act when something moves them. Commerce structured my economics thinking; nevertheless, it hardly delineates how to “prove” things or why a great headline works better than a discount. To enrich the structure, I pursued a management program to comprehend how numbers become stories and how stories shape decisions. I have worked in the investment banking industry for six years, developing and scaling finance functions. Some required representation, some needed to change theirs, and some needed to be present in person. I have solved the dimensions boundary between skepticism and gullibility, created acquisition strategies, and pitched business plans that turned ideas into execution and execution into growth. From investment and suggestion to client relations and collaboration, the only approach that is perpetually regarded as impactful is what works, what scales, and what lasts. I currently work in an investment bank, where trust is equally important as engagement. Monetary value does not require enhancements to its appeal; it inherently possesses desirability. The purpose is to create seamless, secure, and accessible financial products that feel intuitive but not transactional. As the industry is a competitive space, the real battle is for credibility rather than attention. Trustworthiness is developed in the details: each interaction, every experience, and every moment in which a product discreetly fulfills its promises.Aside from my professional life, I am actively involved in activities. I learned that starting three moves earlier is the best strategy in chess. I am physically astute with sports and approach problems, always seeking the next opening. Literature, especially that of Ayn Rand and Steve Jobs, reminds me that the most compelling narratives often do not adhere to conventional structures and conventions. Reading biographies has taught me about how people innovate and think fearlessly, what they aspire to, and how, beneath everything, the same forces propel us all: security and ambition, which need to be discerned.
