As a Senior Lead Recruiter at Spear Staffing, I play a key role in leading and mentoring a team of recruiters to achieve individual and team hiring goals. Screening, interviewing, and shortlisting candidates based on technical skills, work authorization (US Citizens, Green Card, H1B, etc.), and cultural fit. Strategically allocating open roles to recruiters while also contributing hands-on by sourcing top talent through platforms like LinkedIn, Dice, and Monster (LinkedIn being my go-to). Negotiating pay rates (C2C, W2, and 1099) with candidates and third-party vendors, ensuring win-win outcomes. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendor partners to support long-term collaboration.Joining Spear Staffing at a startup stage gave me the unique opportunity to wear multiple hats—leading the team while directly sourcing candidates, closing multiple offers, and helping establish strong delivery practices.
