As an apprentice at Medtronic India, I had the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally, gaining invaluable experience in the medical technology field. Coming from a mechanical engineering background, I never anticipated working in healthcare, but my passion for integrating engineering with medicine led me down this rewarding path. During my apprenticeship, I focused on high-end neuroscience technologies, particularly in cranial and spinal solutions. This hands-on experience expanded my understanding of medical devices and enhanced my confidence in delivering critical on-site support. The role challenged me to master human anatomy, product applications, pathologies, and diagnostic tools, but with the support and training from the Medtronic team, I was able to navigate complex neurosurgeries in the operating room with confidence. Collaborating with neurosurgeons and understanding their pain points helped me sharpen my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. I had the privilege of supporting surgeries across major metropolitan cities such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Indore. This experience gave me the chance to apply my technical expertise in diverse settings while developing a deeper understanding of the healthcare industry\'s needs. This journey has been transformative, equipping me with the technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills necessary to excel in the medical technology field. I look forward to leveraging this experience to make a meaningful impact in future roles.
