I am Shubham - a Mechanical Engineer turned MBA candidate in Operations & Supply Chain Management (ISBS 2024–26), building a career where engineering meets efficiency and strategy meets execution.Currently working as a Tactical Purchase Intern at Emerson, within the Isolation Valve Center of Excellence, I am gaining hands-on experience in-Open order tracking & reporting-Delivery delay analysis-Excel dashboard management-SAP MM system updates-Supporting the P2P cycle to meet service levels like RDSL and PDSL Learning InfluencesMy professional mindset has been significantly shaped by my participation in the Future Leader Program, conducted by RL Bhatia, where I was exposed to a wide range of strategic and operational frameworks. The workshops covered key areas such as Change Management, Design Thinking, Circular Economy, AI in Business, the Business of Paradigm, DOT & Elephant Theory, and Leadership & Innovation.I also gained critical insights into Digital Marketing, Branding, Technology Strategy, Risk Management, Soft Skills, and ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) frameworks - all of which deepened my understanding of how today’s leaders are expected to think beyond functional knowledge and drive sustainable impact.
