Continually review and develop aircraft reliability, investigate incidents, implement improvements, and define technical changes to the maintenance programme.• Manage, specify, develop and control the work scope of aircraft systems to achieve the highest technical standards andoptimum cost. • Provide technical support during heavy maintenance checks internally and at 3rd party locations.• Define additional work required to provide solutions to on-going technical problems. Respond to operational problems, incidents and AOG situations.• Assess relevant Regulatory Authority requirements and Directives. Review manufacturer\'s communications, implementing appropriate actions. • Provide subject matter expertise in negotiating Repair and overhaul contracts, significant warranty claims and support programmes with the manufacturers and contracted repair agencies.• Liaise with aircraft lessors and OEMs. CAMO Safety Officer:• Timely carry out and accurately investigate safety occurrence reports.• Ensure there is appropriate feedback on action taken or results following the submission of a safety occurrence report.• Promote a positive safety culture.
