18+ years hands on experience in System software design & implementation in the area of Linux/Windows Device Drivers, UEFI & BIOS drivers in storage and IOT domains using C /Linux /cross-compiler (gcc) as major development environment. Developed storage I/Os software – pre-boot application, device driver for Serial Attached SCSI Host Bus Adapters (HBA) that involved working on SAS, SATA and NVMe protocols. Development of UEFI Boot Services Driver & HII protocol based configuration utility, and have extensive working experience on UEFI framework. Hands-on experience in storage devices and storage concepts such as SAN and NAS. Worked on Linux device drivers for storage devices that includes volume manager, virtual tape libraries, multipathing software, software-defined storage and file system. In-depth understanding files systems such as Luster, ext3/4, raiser fs, gfs. Extensive experience on multi-core, multithreading, IPC and Embedded Linux [Internals/Libraries]. Worked on Yocto Linux and did compilation and boot up activities. Worked on performance testing of a storage product and did performance evaluation at different layer of Linux kernel subsystem, such as block layer and FC layer. Involved in fixing issues, bugs, system integration, bug triaging during different assignments. Collaborated with customers to understand requirements and define development and Validation plan. Working knowledge on development of windows driver development. Proficient with Unit testing, Functional Testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, Sanity testing, Stress Testing, Self-host testing and transforming into factory model of execution.
