My general interests and experience span from networking algorithms and architecture to embedded software implementation of networking systems. It is fascinating to see how networking technology has revolutionized this world. I would like to continue to devote my passion and expertise into its next frontier.I graduated from Rice University with a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and joined TI Systems and Application R&D Center in October 2007. At TI, I have been working on Smart Grid related projects, responsible for both networking algorithm design for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) networks and the embedded software implementation of AMI devices. While I was a Ph.D. student at Rice University, my research work was focusing on the multi-hop wireless networking algorithms and systems. I recently joined Atheros Communications and has been working on the next generation WLAN technology.Specialties: Networking (MAC, routing, transport) protocols’ design, implementation, evaluation, analysis, and optimization.Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANET), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Wireless Mesh Networks, Wireless LAN 802.11), Zigbee (802.15.4).
