About Shruti Gupta
In my current role at Josh Talks, I\'m engaged with the \"Jobs for Women\" program, a new initiative aimed at broadening economic opportunities for women in tier 2 and tier 3 cities of India. This endeavour is an extension of my dedication to social impact and education, rooted in meaningful experiences from previous roles, including a significant tenure at Teach for India where I contributed to the educational and emotional growth of over 200 adolescents from low-income communities. The \"Jobs for Women\" program is a reflection of our collective aspiration to effectuate meaningful societal change through education and skill development. It prioritizes equipping women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to enter the workforce and contribute to the economy, embodying our belief in the transformative power of education. Leveraging insights gained from leading the curriculum development for the Josh Talks English Speaking App, which focused on enhancing employability through improved English language skills, and taking from my experience in instructional design, facilitation, and leadership through classrooms at and beyond Teach for India motivated me to develop supportive learning environments driven towards the mission of unlocking human potential. As we navigate the early stages of the \"Jobs for Women\" program, my focus is on learning from the community we aim to serve and adapting our strategies to create the most impactful outcomes. This work is a continuation of my journey to harness education as a catalyst for empowerment, aiming to create spaces where individuals can thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.
