ABOUT SHRUTI VERMA
I have over 20 years of experience as a Physiotherapist working in NHS, privately with case management and insurance companies. I continue to enjoy working as Physiotherapy Lead as a part of a wider MDT team aiming to deliver community rehab, which involves the client and their families. I offer an eclectic approach to therapy, aiming to use patient centred approach to rehab with a focus on the co-production of SMART goals with the client and their families. I am a Bobath-trained physiotherapist with a special interest and qualifications in hydrotherapy, 24 hr postural management, high-intensity rehabilitation and spasticity management. I have always been interested in developing and providing new innovative services to improve the quality of care for my clients and their families. I am dedicated to working with clients to help improve their participation and integration back into the community, thereby impacting positively on their quality of life. Clinical Focus: Neurological (Brain injury, stroke, long-term conditions, learning disability, cerebral palsy) and Complex needs( poly-trauma orthopaedic, long COVID, fragility, profound disability ) rehabilitation.
