About Shruti Sitara Singh
As a Mumbai-based creative director and art-meets-fashion curator, I am known for pushing boundaries in design and conceptualizing immersive narratives that intersect art, music, theatre, culture, and diverse mediums of design. With a humble track record, I have partnered with impactful initiatives such as Usha Silai, Raymond Khadi, and British Council\'s IFS UK & Crafting Futures for design intervention and social impact. As a former fashion curator and manager for the Fashion Design Council of India, I launched India\'s first digital fashion week, championed alternative fashion movements, and partnered with EA Sims to launch the Mumbai Fashion Street Kit. I also spearheaded Lakmé Fashion Week\'s experiential space called the \'Studio\' from 2014 to 2019. Alongside my independent creative consulting and curation work, I direct, creatively strategize, and produce brand films/campaigns, while developing a unique \"transmutation\" language through illustration.
