I work as a Software engineer in the Notification Platform team, handling notifications for all sorts of channels between Yelp and 3rd party providers. That automatically means dealing with a lot of other teams at Yelp that want to use our platform to trigger their notifications.Prior to that, I worked in the Marketing Channels team. I worked on various attribution models that help calculate revenue for ad click events and then sending those events over to Yelp\'s marketing partners for optimising ad spend and efficiency of said campaigns and ads. I also built ETL pipelines that download entities and metrics data from our marketing partners and store them in Yelp data store for later comparison and observability. I use the following technologies extensively in my role: Python, SQL, Apache Spark, Apache Beam, Apache Kafka, Splunk, Redshift and Datalake.
