ABOUT SHRUTI DEULGAONKAR

Data work interests me most when it is tied to specific questions: what changed, what it means, and what action it suggests. As a Computer Science master’s student at UNC Charlotte with experience on large-scale data projects, the goal now is to use that background across data roles for Summer 2026.​So far, that has meant working with real datasets in both industry and academic settings: writing SQL and Python, cleaning and transforming data, investigating quality issues, and supporting how data feeds into reporting, dashboards, and day-to-day decisions. The common focus has been making data more reliable, easier to work with, and clearer to interpret for the people who rely on it.​What I do- Analyze datasets using Python and SQL to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process or performance improvement- Design and maintain data workflows so recurring analysis and reporting are repeatable instead of one-off- Apply visualization tools and clear summaries to turn results into something stakeholders can interpret and question- Improve data quality and reliability through validation checks, testing, and monitoring, reducing downstream errors and incidents- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teammates to translate open-ended questions into measurable metrics and clear reporting.​Actively seeking Summer 2026 internships in data analytics, business intelligence, or adjacent data roles where there is scope to work with real data, learn from experienced teams, and contribute to meaningful projects.
