ABOUT SHRUTHI V.
Hello, I’m Shruthi! I am a Graduate Student of Psychology at University of Toronto, and my interests lie in the areas of mental health research, clinical and developmental psychology, and neuropsychology. I would like to break down barriers in mental health care, making it more accessible, inclusive, less stigmatised and person-centric. I’m also drawn to content writing and marketing opportunities in the areas of social justice and mental health advocacy. I’ve always been fascinated by the intersection of neuroscience & psychology, how the brain constructs reality, how emotions and our experiences shape who we are. I find that studying the mind is key to understanding what it means to be human. Beyond research and academia, I appreciate the beauty in the world around me by capturing moments and expressing myself through photography, writing, art, fashion and traveling.
